Howdens is the UK’s number one trade kitchen supplier. They are a major advertiser on UK radio, utilising the medium to promote a wide range of their products, services and promotions – including their latest campaign: TRADEFEST, their ‘biggest kitchen event of the year’.
Radio was identified as a key medium to promote TradeFest and bring it to life. The challenge was on to deliver a campaign idea with real standout and instant recall. Cue the musical singalong!
We knew a famous track would give TradeFest the prominent, commanding, and memorable sound we were looking for. We quickly identified the perfect song – Chelsea Dagger by The Fratellis. It’s big, it’s bold, it resonates strongly with their audience and that singalong chorus is killer! We matched the track with a strong voiceover and bold copy and the results sound incredible on air!
This campaign is our biggest of the year and radio was to play a major part in its promotion. We needed a really big, standout audio idea that would also work across other media too - and Get Carter really delivered!
