Lyrically Challenged

Famous music - everyone knows the words... don’t they?

We have a problem at Get Carter Productions.

Every now and again, there’s an unexpected outburst of *cough* singing in the office that causes a few raised eyebrows. And no, it’s not the singing itself - though, let’s just say, it’s not exactly a symphony - it’s the butchering of the lyrics.

I won’t name names, but let’s call him Matthew Bromham, Managing Director of Get Carter Productions, and even though he prides himself on being a Top 10 @ 10 whiz, somehow the actual lyrics to songs seem to elude him.

These random musical outbursts have been happening for a while now, but lately, it’s getting out of hand. In the past couple of days alone, we’ve been treated to a rendition of Spotlight1 by Blur, Here Comes The Hotstepper (Turn It Up2)”, Shake Me Up3 by Taylor Swift, Chasing Payments4 by Adele, a peculiar take on Craig McLachlan’s Mona to the tune of Avicii’s Hey Brother, and, to top it all off, a quick blast of the Match of the Day theme tune.

Let’s just say an intervention is on the cards.

Thankfully, Matthew’s expertise lies in the business side of things, so when it comes to choosing your brand sound, you don’t have to worry about him suggesting Up, Down, Funky Bus5 by Bruno Mars.

Instead, our talented creative producers will take the wheel and help steer you in the right direction. (Funky bus puns intended.)

We’ll ensure that every word, tone, and sound in your campaigns are carefully considered to match your brand voice.

So, if you want to explore audio branding with people who know their music (and their lyrics), just get in touch.
