As the UK’s first independent tyre comparison website, Motokiki entered a highly competitive marketplace with a new and innovative service for motorists. Motokiki pulls together an unprecedented amount of live price and installation data, to provide the best value products and highest rated fitters for anyone needing replacement tyres.

WHAT

Motokiki’s founder Debra Williams was keen to involve Get Carter Productions early on - before the venture was formally launched. She recognised the necessity of having a very clear and structured marketing strategy that encompassed every channel available – from the online presence to broadcast advertising – with strong and persuasive visual and aural branding. We worked closely with the team of designers and developers to provide a sonic identity that mirrored the playful and vibrant brand values found in all the visual material.

WHY

Working from a comprehensive mood board and a long list of songs and musical styles, we set about creating a suite of tracks that evokes the fun, funky, playful and memorable elements the brand requires. As part of this process we also generated a short ‘sonic trigger’ that offers the ever-present catchy hook in a form that can be used across every platform.
